Product features

The container agitators from Geppert Rührtechnik are designed for the use with plastic and stainless steel IBCs. A quick-release crossbar for plastic IBCs or a container lid for stainless steel IBCs enable easy installation. The impellers are adaptable for all openings for filling with a diameter of 150 mm or more. In addition, explosion-proof mixers for Ex zones 0 or 1 are available to ensure safety in hazardous environments. Forklift pockets and crane lifting eyes allow easy handling and transportation of the mixers, while carrying handles provide convenient adjustment. Sturdy hooks ensure secure attachment during operation. The plug solution on the motor enables a quick and uncomplicated power supply. All agitators are aligned and tested for 100% concentricity, which ensures safe operation from the first use.

Applications

The versatility of Geppert Rührtechnik’s container agitators makes them suitable for a wide range of applications. They are ideal for the continuous mixing of chemicals, flocculants, coagulants or milk of lime in IBCs to ensure a homogeneous suspension concentration prior to processing. Other applications include the homogenization of paints, the suspension of metal particles in the paint and coating industry or the distribution of ingredients in the food and beverage industry.

Geppert Rührtechnik offers tailor-made solutions for specialized agitator applications and ensures that the entire system meets the requirements of the MRL and ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU for gas or dust explosion-proof design. Solutions for dosing solids and liquids are part of the standard portfolio.

Mr. Geppert had been enjoying his well-earned retirement for many years, yet his legacy endures: Over 50 years ago, he established our company with immense passion, tireless dedication, and visionary leadership.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to his loved ones during this difficult time.

On November 13, 2024, Geppert Rührtechnik in Erzhausen hosted the International Sales Meeting South. Partners from Austria, Switzerland, Italy, and the USA met with the German sales team to reflect on the successes of recent years and prepare for upcoming challenges.

The meeting served as a platform for sales presentations, workshops, and an intensive exchange of experiences. In addition to technical innovations, the discussions focused on international challenges and the future of sales strategies.

A key highlight was the presentation of various practical examples from completed customer projects, which showcased the strengths of Geppert Rührtechnik. Through concrete applications, it became clear that the company is the ideal partner for complex stirring applications and complete plant solutions – including PLC control systems.

“It was an extremely productive exchange, where every participant gained valuable insights. We look forward to our collaboration in the coming year and are optimistic about 2025,” said Markus Fuchs, Managing Director of Geppert Rührtechnik.

Fuchs also expressed confidence in the company’s long-term growth strategy. The company is well-positioned to further expand its market share. After the European Coatings Show 2025, the next international sales meeting is planned to take place in Erzhausen, where the growing sales team will meet again.
