The CR-E tote tank mixers are designed for plastic IBCs with filling openings of 150 mm and volumes from 600 l up to 1,200 l. Depending on viscosity, customers can choose between various fast-running and slow-running versions with electric drives. The agitator shafts are connected to the drive shafts with sleeve couplings or borne within the gear’s hollow shaft (worm gears). After assembly, the agitator shafts are balanced for concentric run.
The mixer is mounted on a container traverse bridge included in the scope of supply and clamped to the cage frame of the IBC using a rapid fixing system. This means the plastic bulk of the container is not subjected to static or dynamic loads from the agitator. The fixing of the traverse bridge is adjustable for various container models.
- The impellers are designed to fit through the 150 mm filling opening when being inserted.
- The electric container mixers are delivered with on-/off-switches with low-voltage breaker. They can also be supplied with frequency converter drives.
