Since January 1, 2020, Markus Fuchs took over the position of the new CEO and Managing Director of Geppert Rührtechnik GmbH. Markus Fuchs was previously responsible as Managing Director Operations and Plant Manager at international and national locations. Further positions led him to a leading manufacturer of products for ventilation technology and to the market leader for drive and damping technology.

European Coatings Show 2019

The ECS European Coatings Show took place in Nuremberg from March 19 to 21, 2019 – the meeting place for the international world of paints and coatings. Geppert Rührtechnik was represented in hall 6, booth 6-335.

The range of products at the ECS reflects the innovations in paints and coatings. Trends and technologies covering all aspects of the production of paints, coatings, sealants, construction chemicals and adhesives.

In the world of industrial production tripod agitators stand for flexibility and operational safety. Whereas in former days single components were required, Geppert Rührtechnik GmbH now offers complete tripod agitators, equipped with the most up-to-date process control. These machines offer flexibility of application, meet the maximum needs of reliability and provide ease of cleaning and maintenance.

It occurs more and more often that entire stages of production and packaging are executed in small-to medium-size containers that are either mixed in or that are filled or emptied. Due to the tripod agitators’ stand-alone statics they do not need to be installed onto the container. Applications for various container sizes, shapes or volumes are no problem at all. All requirements with regard to process data collection and processing as well as with regard to plant automation are met. Even online viscosity measurements are possible. For requirements that arise from the products themselves or the environment of the production area, such as hazardous areas in and around the containers, clean room conditions and TA Luft, Geppert Rührtechnik offers taylor-made solutions with their tripod agitators. Special designs, such as tripod agitators for fixed container mixers or fully automated plants, which are used in the areas of clean room technology or nuclear waste processing, complete the range of products.

Geppert Rührtechnik has been producing explosion-proof mixer drives since as early as 2003, which made them one of the first enterprises in Germany to develop and produce ATEX-compliant mixers. The tripod agitators can also be delivered as explosion-proof models according to ATEX RL 2014/34/EU for use in hazardous zones 1 and 2 as well as containers with hazardous zones 0 to 1.

The ECS European Coatings Show 2017 in Nuremberg continues to expand its position as the leading event for the global coatings industry. More than 30,000 trade visitors and 1,135 exhibitors from 40 countries – the ECS 2017 was bigger and more international than ever.

Geppert Rührtechnik GmbH is very satisfied with the trade show and the visitor numbers at our booth. In addition to the well-known container- and drum-mixers the visitors were very interested in our tripod agitators with 4.0 applications.
